SOYA FRIED RICE vage icon


Stir fried rice with the chunkiness of soya and the flavours of spring onions.


INGREDIENTS

  • Rice- 200 gm or 1 cup (as per US RATIO).(rinsed twice and soaked for 20 mins and boiled Al dente.)
  • Soya mini chunks-14 cup boiled and excess water removed.
  • Spring onions-2-3 nos sliced 
  • Sweet corn -13 cup shelled 
  • Onion-1 medium sized chopped.  
  • Tomato sauce-2 tbsp 
  • Chilly sauce-1 tbsp  
  • Dark Soya Sauce-2 tsp  
  • Red chilly flakes-1 tsp
  • Pepper powder-2 tsp 
  • Honey-1 tsp 
  • Garlic-2-3 cloves finely chopped. 
  • Honey-1 tsp 
  • Salt-to taste
SOYA FRIED RICE

Procedure

Heat oil in a cooking vessel or Wok.Add the chopped garlic and fry. Add the chopped onions and cook till translucent.

Add the tomato sauce, chilly sauce and soya sauce, Pepper powder, Red chilly flakes, paprika and honey.

Add the boiled and drained soya nuggets continue to saute. Add the Spring onions and fry till translucent and the sauce coats the soya nuggets.

Now add the rice, salt to taste, sprinkle with some water and stir fry till done.

Garnish with more spring onions and serve hot.
